During the recent impeachment hearings, George Kent, a deputy assistant secretary for Europe and Eurasian affairs, testified before lawmakers and unintentionally made a big statement. Congressional committee hearing are infamous for seeing witnesses nervously drink from single-use plastic water bottles. George Kent said “F*ck it, I’m bringing my Nalgene!” He showed up with a 48oz Blue Nalgene which will now be forever known as a “George Kent.” I can already see my friends coming up to me before our next hike saying, “Hang on, I gotta go back to my car, I forgot my George Kent.”
